First of all I'd like to ask you about your current activities in VELES. Are there any news?
Veles is frozen now.
Your line-up is still the same? Tell our readers about yourselves a bit.
We don't think that line-up details are so important. Main message is much more important.
I know that you are going to release a MCD or split-album. Did you record it already? Why do you choose MCD format? You don't have enough material for a full-length album?
Everything is delayed. We're sure to do a new MCD in a next year or leter.
Your debut album differs from the second one. And they both differ from your demo. It looks like VELES' music evolve with every release. Are there any changes on your upcoming album?
Tons of changes!! Primitivism, satanism and cult of the horned one!
Rob Darken writes instrumental parts on your album as always? Do you know about his recent activities?
He still record something. Last Graveland was wery good.
In your interview you told that VELES' contract with No Colours is over and you are looking for new label. Why did you decide to change the label? You are not satisfied by sales and promotion or it's something else?
We want new label from underground.
Did you find a new label for your band? What do you expect from it?
No maybe we will do it with polish label.
Great compilation The Night And The Fog has your track. It was taken from your debut album. Why did you choose this pretty old song?
Because the song suit to the comp. We don't care if the song is old / new or something.
Do you have any other musical projects besides VELES?
No, absoulutly.
As far as I know from the very beginning your band had different name and later you've changed it to VELES. This change was influenced by changes in your views or it's something else?
We want a new name and the idea was Blasphemous one. I don't remember the reasons sorry....
Music of VELES is propaganda or art? What kind of ideology you are trying to project through music?
Totalitarism.
