PARADE GROUND was formed in 1982 (A time when lots of bands were popping up, and disturbing rock music with a fresh and daring electro sound) by the brothers Pierre and Jean-Marc PAULY starting with more cold wave inspired songs and evolving towards an intelligent electro pop sound "avant la lettre".
Their first release came in 1983 under the wings of Daniel B. and Patrick CODENYS from FRONT 242, aware of PARADE GROUND's talent and potential; they did collaborate to almost all PARADE GROUND's records and even released some material on MASK Records (FRONT 242's own label in the early days). Colin Newman (WIRE) was also in charge of a few opus.
Their biggest recognition - so far - came when the A-side from their 'Strange World' 12" was included on the cult compilation album 'This is Electronic Body Music' in 1987. The next year the band recorded their first album, 'Cut Up'.
The two brothers were also involved in the making of FRONT 242's albums '06:21:03:11 Up Evil' and '05:22:09:12 Off'.
In 2004, PARADE GROUND was ready for a new career and played some of their new songs live on stage for the very first time at the 3rd Belgian Independent Music Festival surprising friends and enemies.
Today, PARADE GROUND is presenting 'Rosary', their newest creation produced by no one else than Patrick CODENYS (FRONT 242).
This is SOUTH SATURN DELTA's debut album, featuring their finest live recordings from between 2003-2005, in Osaka and Tokyo. SSD is a kind of Japanoise supergroup, formed in 2003, with guitar and voice from Maso Yamazaki (MASONNA), synth and voice from Hiroshi Hasegawa (ASTRO, C.C.C.C., YBO2) and drums from Nobuko Emi (TSURUBAMI). An extreme psychedlic noise trip over 4 lengthy tracks.
C.C.C.C.Chaos Is The Cosmos CD

HEXPEROS is the new project of the soprano Alessandra Santovito and Francesco Forgione (double bass and keyboard). Both of these Italian musicians hold an impressive curriculum which covers appearances in various Classical and Jazz performances as well as a respected career in the alternative scene - Alessandra was one of the founding members of GOTHICA, who gained a strong following in the Gothic/Neo-Classical milieu with their two albums on the Swedish Cold Meat Industry.

The startling debut by Poets to their Beloved, the German/Dutch duo who conquered physical distance through proximity of hearts, is finally ready for release. Under the title “Embrace the Fool”, their first opus gathers thirteen songs, written over the four year period that followed since the duo's first meeting in Ireland. Saskia Dommisse and Marcel Schiborr had travelled there to attend a Brendan Perry workshop, where a singular musical connection between both was forged.
On the verge of neo-folk, the album presents a unique atmosphere built on stringed instruments such as acoustic guitars, cello, violin and bass. Although a romantic tone is found throughout most of the disc, the compositions also often possess a ritualistic essence where male and female voices rise webbed to the pulsating percussions. Singing of love, loss, forlorn tales and old rituals, Saskia and Marcel invite us into the bleak forest of their soul, where an uncharacteric sense of optimism shines through the treetops to shed some light upon the shady path.

Russian indie label SHADOWPLAY and MOON FAR AWAY band invite to take part in the conceptual neo-folk compilation "Enemies" all industrial, military-pop and gothic bands from the countries that took part in the second world war - from Russia and the ex-USSR-countries, German, Poland, Japan, England, Italy, USA, Spain, Serbia, Bulgaria and other countries. The main idea of the project is to gather in one CD lyric songs of that war time which were inspired by those terrible events and human pain and feeling of the people that took part in the second world war. We would like to draw your attention that this compilation will include lyric songs that is the songs don't say about call to the hostilities, don't have political declarations, blood and so on. So we would like to concentrate our attention on perconal, national and emotional aspects of the people who became the History, people who turn into killers from usual ones with families, love... Songs or caver-versions that will be in the compilation must be written at the time of the second world war and some time before it but became popular during the war. The musicians have to present to the Shadowplay label the text of the plaing song (for making booklet) in English and national language. The planning release date is 1st September of 2008. STURMAST Ibis Redibis Nunquam In Bello Peribis digi-CD
STURMAST from Hungary plays a unique kind of folk influenced martial industrial music. Far from being an instrumental one-man computer band putting some classical loops and battle sounds together, STURMAST is a collective fronted by Varga Gabor. Here real musicians play real instruments, thus introducing the good old band-feeling to the martial industrial scene. The music contains powerful, eruptive live drums (toms, snare, bass drum), haunting violin and cello, acoustic guitar, and a selection of traditional folk instruments (e.g. kaval, jaw harp). Even the keyboards are "live" recorded in some ways, and a considerable part of the samples and special effects are made by the band itself. Absorbing atmosphere links the compositions which vary from hypnotic monotonous to marching repetitive, from moody experimental to beautiful, melancholy-filled delicate. The lyrics, portraying the fight of the historic and modern, spiritual and secular, uplifting and ill-fated, are mostly in Hungarian (one song is in German), with English translations in the stylish digipak booklet.

The French philosopher Georges Bataille serves as the inspiration for the new and third fulltime album of the German ritual-folk-band :Golgatha:. Founded in 2004 by Christoph Donarski and S. Marleni, :Golgatha: began in the dark realms of ambient-drones and continually developed their use of acoustic instruments to create a unique mixture organic and electronic elements. After two acclaimed albums on the subject of heroism, ‘Tales of Transgression & Sacrifice’ marks a certain change of course in the music of :Golgatha: – in a psychonautic trip from ritual-drumming via multi-textured soundscapes up to catchy folk-songs this album appears even more sensual, erotic and fascinating than before.
Included are new versions of the songs ‘Rites of Spring’ (from CMI-compilation ‘All My Dead Friends’), ‘Garden of Love’(from NONPOP-compilation) and ‘Flesh of the Orchid’. This time :Golgatha: introduce the beautiful female voice of Sorakey besides a wide variety of acoustic instrumentation (acoustic guitar, viola, bodhran drum, Asian gong, flutes etc.).

The album Wound Profile by Erik Jarl, the genius of Swedish electronics, previously released in a cassette, has now, after some processing of the record, come out as a CD in a very elegant digipack. The album consists of two record sessions: one of them (6 tracks) was recorded by Erik in 1999, while the other (one track) was recorded 18 months later. Those closely following the music of the Scandinavian master may recognize the early sound of Erik’s compositions in Wound Profile album that at certain points even remind the first IRM records. Clear-cut, abnormal, psychedelic rhythmics, its distorted, massive repetitions, analogous loops of synthetic sound generate the emotions of anxiety, morbidity and degeneration. Unlike Erik’s later music marked for its abstract structure and closer to drone style, the album Wound Profile can be characterized by emotional straightforwardness and brutality.
The band returned from Scotland, where they had nice and intense holiday as well as did master the new album. Now they are working on the last bits for the artwork and soon have it ready to go into production - to have it released in time. It will be available in shops from October 16th on,both on CD and LP.

BIPOLRitual CD
Andreas Brinkert a.k.a. BIPOL (synth, sampling, programming & arrangement) has been active since 1992. He has also supported well known bielefeld based artists such as ARS MORIENDI, TEMPLEGARDEN'S and RASPUTEEN. In 2000, he and Andreas Glockner started the rhythm industrial project PUNCH INC. which has released one cd-r and two fulltime cds. In addition, he began to develop his own project BIPOL in 2005.
Ritual is the result of two years of hard work, a mixage of electronic tribal/triphop beats, combined with dark psychotic soundscapes, drony bass lines and odd voice samples. bipol's music could be
seen as the continuation of industrial music before power noise took over; that is, pounding beat boxes, irritating electro acoustic sounds and disturbing implementation of effects. the mood is quite
the same on this release - brinkert's technical skills and ritual's production prove that this cd is a topical one. moctan's remix of invocation demonstrates that bipol's basics work perfectly in hard
four-to-the-floor context. now, if only these two artists would combine their abilities... but that's another story.
GJOLLNot To Lead Nor To Follow CD
On their second release, Johann Eiriksson and Sigur?ur Har?arson follow the ideological path that they began with 'Way Through Zero'. instead of one conceptual work divided in parts, GJOLL
presents six tracks. The lyrics printed in the cd booklet show this project's empathy for the individual who is able to detach from political, religious or social necessities. Even without
listening to GJOLL's music you can already feel the anger, the challenges of society’s excrescences, and the frustration about the way things are (and about the way things should be).
As on the previous album, GJOLL transcribe their musical statements into a process in which the listener is forced to open up. pulsing drones, mighty synth layers, heavy sequencer patterns and
disembowelling sub-basses combine with Har?arson's ear-piercing vocals and the result is an unforgettable listening experience. This project's music is hard to compare, but both musicians
are able to merge the intensity of grindcore or doom metal with industrial's sonic variety.
CONTAGIOUS ORGASMRipple CD
Hiroshi Hashimoto started releasing music twenty years ago as contagious orgasm. right from the beginning listeners knew that there was something very unique and special about C.O.'s sound - differing from the typical japanese
'industrial scene'. The initial aural transformation of track and release titles were soon replaced by something quite different. Themes became more abstract and surrealistic; influences came from various collaborations and often
seriousness was undercut with a wink... As on previous C.O. releases you can hear musical and stylistic sources from many cultural areas; for instance on 'ripple'
you can hear indian chants, dub bass, electronic clicks/cuts, gongs, a piano, even straight beats and minimal sequencer grooves. Styles range from free form to dance music to idm to noise and to ethnic sources. In hashimoto's works these
ingredients cease what they were before - they are now transformed into coherent music (without being a eclectic cliche). An example: often many artists use voice samples in their work, to explain or to engross thoughts. Hashimoto's
usage of samples take the 'instruments of speech' out of their initial contexts - used in c.o.'s metaverse they entirely lose their initial intent and function. if we go further and think about 'rhythms', 'melodies' and 'textures' instead of 'voices', we might have a key to C.O.'s self conception.
EVA | 3The Great Divide CD
Fich-Art presents its first pressed CD: 'The Great Divide' is the first full-length release of EVA|3.
Paul Lavigne created this album between 2002 and 2006. He was supported by Riotmiloo from the punk band VENOM SEEDS doing vocals on two tracks.
Also paul got the support of A.Schramm (ASCHE), D.Vallee (LITH), P.Munch, who added three remixes as well as S.Alt, who designed the artwork.
EVA|3 's music is a cold and sharp mixture of ambient texture and distorted rhythms. From experimental (the black lodge) to minimal songs (sweet abuse), from ambient to rhythmical
distorted music 'the great divide' offers a vast range of genres and styles with a unique personality.
